Miller Nichols Library
Study Rooms
LOCATION: Ground floor and First floor
- Study rooms can be reserved online.
- Reservations may be made for 2 hours during regular library hours.
- To allow fair and open access to as many students as possible, only one booking per day will be accepted from the same individual/group.
- Reservations will be held until 15 minutes after start of the reservation.
- Most study rooms can be reserved up to 1 week in advance.
Digital Collaboration Studio
LOCATION: Third floor
Located on the third floor of Miller Nichols Library, the Digital Collaboration Studio is a cooperative work and teaching space managed by Digital Scholarship Services. The facility includes an open area with mobile furniture and high-definition monitors, a seminar room with video conferencing capability and digital whiteboard and small collaboration rooms with high-definition monitors. The Studio includes an audio and video recording studio for oral histories and podcasts. The Studio is designed to support research and education in all disciplines.

Miller Nichols Library provides the following for meetings and events:
iX Theatre
LOCATION: First floor
The iX Theatre is a flex-use space on the first floor of the library. UMKC-affiliated groups may request to use the iX Theatre for presentations, performances, or events. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Conference Room 325
LOCATION Third floor
Conference Room 325 may requested for use by UMKC-affiliated groups for meetings or events if not needed by Library staff. Student groups are not eligible to use this space. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Health Sciences Library
LOCATION: School of Medicine Building, 2nd floor
The Health Sciences Library provides two reservable rooms: a Collaboration Room seating up to six individuals and a Quiet Study Room seating up to eight individuals.
