This space includes a motorized video camera and microphones to capture audio and video recordings such as interviews or podcasts. The studio is not appropriate for recording music, as it is a not a soundproof environment. For instructions on using the technology in this room, please visit the LibGuide.

  • UMKC users only.

  • No food is allowed in this room; drinks must be in closed containers.

  • Reservations are required to use this space.

  • Priority reservations for oral history, podcast, or other recording.

  • Not for general study use. 

Make a reservation, then check out the key, keyboard, and mouse from the Service Desk on the first floor.

Directions

Located on the Third Floor of Miller Nichols Library, inside the Digital Collaboration Studio. For access, enter the library at the north ground floor entrance or west first floor entrance. Then take elevator or stairs to the third floor.
